Progressive Safety Solutions was founded in 2007 to help promote a positive culture of health and safety within the construction and related industries.  As we have progressed, our client base has grown to include a variety of sectors and sizes ranging from small retail outlets to large construction and manufacturing companies.  We offer a variety of service including Health & safety training, consultation and audit advice with a bank of consultants on hand to offer expert tuition and advice.  Our consultants have a huge array of managerial experience in a variety of roles and disciplines.


Meet the Team

Directors and Company Owners – Rachel & Paul Griffiths

Principal Consultant / Director – Paul Griffiths

Paul established the Progressive Safety Solutions name back in 2007 after many years working in the manufacturing industry, initially in the role of production followed by a Health & Safety career.  Since then he has climbed the qualification ladder acquiring Nebosh General Certificate, NVQ Level 4 in Environmental Management and a BSc in Health, Safety and Environmental Management to name but a few.  He is a Chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and has wide experience dealing with clients in a range of sectors.  In his limited spare time he is a triathlete and has completed several Ironman events.


Contracts & Training Manager / Director – Rachel Griffiths

Rachel co-created the PSS name with husband Paul back in 2007.  She has a background in administration with a wide range of accompanying qualifications.  She holds ultimate responsibility for the day to day administrative practices within the business including bookings, accreditation’s, website, accounts etc.  She has successfully completed Nebosh General Certificate and the first 2 years of a BSc in Health, Safety and Environmental Management which helps give her an insight into customer requirements.  She additionally works as a music leader visiting local primary schools to co-ordinate choirs.  Her hobbies are mainly musical in orientation and include running a local ladies choir.


Contracts & Training Specialist – Vicky Quinn

Vicky joined us in 2015 and since then has taken on a whole host of tasks including general administration, call handling, invigilation, bookings etc.  Her main duty is now IOSH administration, dealing with course notifications, results and certificates. She recently completed a qualification to become a First Aid trainer and will be undertaking her new role from this year. With her fun and bubbly personality we’re sure she will make an excellent trainer and keep her students highly entertained! In her spare time Vicky is an extremely talented baker creating and decorating fabulous cakes for all occasions.
